Q: What is Ka-Ching!?
|

The name 'Ka-Ching!' is meant to depict the sound of a 'cash register'. It is our brand name and belongs to an organisation called Ka-Ching! World. Our company includes an independent group of professionals that consult to achieve common goals in the fields of education, life-skills training and health within schools and the family unit. We aim to research, develop and produce innovative approaches in addressing the imbalances and inadequacies within current education systems. Our approach is to try and reduce the burden faced by our schools and teachers by requesting a new partnership, a partnership with schools and parents together.

Yes, through The Ka-Ching! Business Parenting Course. This programme is a structured yet flexible course that is designed to assist parents in ensuring their children's future success and happiness. It focuses on two main areas:
- Providing children with the necessary knowledge, skills and characteristics to achieve this.
- Producing a bond of love, respect and understanding between parents and children through positive interaction.
The course is essentially a clear and practical step-by-step guide, which involves you with your child - as a partner! Children yearn to be treated with respect; to be looked up to, rather than looked down on.
The basis of The Ka-Ching! Business Parenting Course lies in a wide variety of practical business projects, which parents and children take on together. Many of the projects are suitable for six year olds - in fact, our experience has shown that children derive the maximum benefit from this dynamic course if they begin with it between the ages of 6 and 15 - and parents don't need to have any knowledge of business! The major benefits of the course are:
- Introducing your children to entrepreneurship and the nature of business at a young age and in a simple and enjoyable manner.
- Providing your children with financial awareness and showing you how to teach them financial management and wealth creation - skills that, contrary to past opinions, need to be nurtured at a young age to be most effective.
- Producing a long-term bonding of the family unit through communication and interaction between parents and children as they work together on business projects
- Developing the critically important 'soft' skills that children - and adults - can use at any stage to enhance learning processes and making them even more likely to succeed - at school and afterwards.
The most exciting feature of The Ka-Ching! Business Parenting Course is that it is completely adaptable! Your projects can be short, medium or long term. You can use whichever ones you choose, whenever you want to use them. You don't even have to work through the course systematically. Any one of the projects will bring immediate benefits to your and your child!

Q: Why should parents get involved in The Ka-Ching! Business Parenting Course?
|
 |
- Parents can play a fundamentally important role in their children's education
- Parents need to take an active part in equipping their children with the necessary confidence, skills and abilities to achieve greater success, now and in the future.
- While many education systems are attempting to address these issues through subjects in Outcomes Based Education and other education systems, there is nothing that provides more value than a parent's involvement & interest in their children's education.
- Ka-Ching! World is an independent organisation that provides parents with the necessary resources to achieve:
- Improved family relationships
- More confident children
- Children with the necessary skills for a more successful life after school
- Greater practical understanding of topics discussed

The golden rules
When your children come to you with a problem - ask for their opinion, ask how they feel about the problem, ask what they think should be done - before advising them.
- Teach them to consider other points of view.
- Teach them that 'different' is not necessarily inferior.
- Talk about 'being proactive' as well as the importance of learning to be a good listener.
